What We Do

  • Provide information for members, students and the general public
  • Provide continuing education for funeral service professionals
  • Interact with students for networking opportunities
  • Encourage interaction with other funeral directors from other states and countries
  • Provide scholarships for students of mortuary science

Goals of the Organization

1.  To serve as a networking opportunity for members
2.  To bring timely and accurate information to members about funeral service
3. Serve as the link between members in New Jersey and the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association
4.  Provide continuing education to members
5.  Provide scholarship opportunities for students attending schools of mortuary science
6.  Give members timely information about regulations and trends affecting funeral directors in New Jersey
7.  Serve as a resource for those entering funeral service
8.  Serve as a resource to our communities disseminating information about funerals, grief and bereavement
